DescriptionJob Title: Sales Trainer IDepartment: SalesFLSA Class: ExemptPay Type: SalariedJob Summary: Maximizes the effectiveness of the sales force by determining and solving training needs. Leads classroom, field, and online training for team members covering sales processes, product, and basic industry knowledge.Essential Job Functions:Develops, implements, and modifies training programs.Reports on individual progress and identifies additional training needs. Collaborates with product managers and marketing teams to ensure training materials align with product specifications and market demands.May assist in developing new training material associated with the introduction of new products, processes, or services. Helps oversee the sales enablement platform and other sales tools. Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member.Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training techniques or technologies. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:1-4 years' experience in Kimray controls and sales processes or production applications preferredPerforms work under direct supervision.Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Possesses a working knowledge of the subject matter.Must have proficient computer and technological skillsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram formCapable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groupsMust have a valid driver's license and a clean MVRMust pass background check and drug screenCore Competencies:Drives Results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.Action Oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Manages Complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
