Bankers' Bank is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join our Madison, WI team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in processing, settlement, reconciliation and data management of investment-related activities within Bankers' Bank. This is an entry-level position requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in finance, more specifically investment operations.

Security Build, Trade Entry and Settlement

• Support security setup and maintenance processes
• Support daily trade and securities settlement activities (DTC, FED, etc.)
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet critical daily deadlines
• Manage "T+x" trade folder to ensure securities are built in InTrader and ready for settlement date through the month
• Take direction from peers and senior team members to ensure smooth operational workflow

Trade Reconciliation and Security Research

• Conduct securities research using Bloomberg Terminal, EMMA, MSRB, and other platforms
• Assist with monitoring and reconciling trade activity, cash balances, and position reports
• Participate in ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives
• Manage and maintain various databases and activities related to securities under management

Customer Communication & Management

• Manage and monitor Safekeeping Shared Inbox and ensure request completion and response to client on a timely basis
• Add/remove/recover users from Investment portal
• Conduct client training sessions for submitting trade and pledge activity on the Investment portal

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. One or more years in banking/finance/investments - will consider previous internship experience. Working knowledge of investment terminology and various investment/ security types and familiarity with trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
