File Clerk

Cerritos, CA | On-Site | Full Time | $17 an hour | Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

As a File Clerk/Admin, you're one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Business Office. You will be responsible for efficiently filing all service or sales contract-related paperwork associated with the service or purchase and sale of new and used vehicles.

This is an excellent entry-level position for someone with a detail oriented and guest service approach to daily responsibilities. Your work is key in ensuring operational effectiveness and ultimately ensuring guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves experience. This role is a great entry point into your career with us!

What You'll Do:

• Keeps files current and in order within appropriate file system all dealership forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material
• Reads/examines incoming material for accuracy and legibility, gets clarification if necessary, classifies properly and files within appropriate file system
• Searches for and retrieves information contained in files as requested. This includes collecting past deal files from storage facility
• Keeps records of material removed from files
• Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements
• Copies records as needed
• Handles and counts cash as needed for several dealerships
• Maintains professional appearance and neat work area
• Drives company vehicles from store to store. This includes travel to all company buildings in Cerritos and NRH-HB daily to pick up deals, files, and deliver other essential paperwork
• Collects and assists in counting and preparing the Ford dealership deposit

What You'll Need:

• Full-time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong communication skills with both Norm Reeves staff and guests
• Excellent organizational and follow up skills
• Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
