Job Opening: Printing Estimator
Location: Scotia, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22 – $28/hour
Start Date: Estimated end of August
About Us
We are a well-established communications firm offering a wide variety of print-related services, with a strong emphasis on lithographic, digital, and fulfillment solutions. Our Scotia, NY location is currently seeking an experienced Printing Estimator to support daily estimating functions and assist with purchasing paper and supplies.
Position Overview
The Printing Estimator will be responsible for:
• Preparing accurate and timely estimates for lithographic and digital print jobs
• Assisting in the procurement of paper and production materials
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
• Securing competitive pricing and delivery schedules to meet production needs
This role requires a deep understanding of print manufacturing processes and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in the printing industry
• 3–5 years of estimating experience in lithographic and digital processes
• In-depth knowledge of litho manufacturing (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-focused
Note: Candidates without specific print experience will not be considered.
Preferred Experience
• Background in production or operations within a promotional products company
• Familiarity with sourcing from marketing firms, screen printers, or promotional product vendors
