Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, consistent bar service at a range of event types, from weddings to corporate gatherings.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests, adhering to standard recipes and presentations.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks in a friendly and engaging manner.
• Assess guests' needs and preferences, making recommendations that enhance their event experience.
• Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar areas before, during, and after events, ensuring a tidy and safe environment.
• Check guests' identification to confirm it meets legal drinking age requirements.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• Process payment transactions and tip reporting.
• Handle glassware and bar tools with care and professionalism.
• Work closely with event coordinators and catering staff to ensure cohesive service.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a bartender with a solid reference track record.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
• Ability to work cohesively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and ABC training certificates.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in a catering or events setting.
• Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different event styles.
• Capability to perform efficiently under pressure.

*Required uniform is the standard black bistro: a black long-sleeved button-down ironed/pressed shirt, black vest, black tie, black slacks (no leggings/no jeans), black belt, black socks, and black non-slip shoes.
