The  Café Manager  is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations and achieving the café’s financial success. This role involves supervising day-to-day activities, leading the team, and maintaining high customer service standards. The manager is also responsible for developing strategies to enhance overall performance, including budget oversight and staff development. There is a strong focus on creating a supportive and motivating work environment to promote employee engagement and retention. Ultimately, the Café Manager aims to provide a welcoming experience for customers while driving the business toward its goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the café’s daily activities to maintain smooth operations and consistently deliver quality food and beverages.
• Hire, onboard, and mentor employees to build a skilled and motivated team.
• Oversee the café’s finances, including budget planning, expense tracking, and inventory management.
• Develop and execute promotional efforts to grow the customer base and strengthen customer loyalty.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards while keeping the café clean, organized, and safe for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational principles specific to café management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team and customer interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required .
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory tracking tools, and HR software.
• Awareness of current local trends in food and beverage offerings.
